Reading Response- Green Dreams; Gardens. Eccentric Spaces

By saying the garden it's a replica or a representation the author means its a vision in our minds that we create. In other words, as if we arrange a landscape to our commodities making it our creation and depiction of our art.The the two poles of elephantine stasis of the palace shares the ground with the butterfly charm of Marie Antoinette's hameau. Her sylvan glooms hide assissins, and it is a haunted place if only for vividly showing hoe contraries meet or call each other forth in the mind in the the Versailles gardens. A garden is a man made mental picture of a landscape. It's the arrangement and ornament place in this that makes them so pleasing too experience. In contrast a natural garden would be a landscape that nature provides us with and we have preserved and taken care of. In today's society people don't usually pay attention to their surroundings anymore. Every one just tends to be focused to get from point A to point E that they don't even notice they passed by B,C and D. Another function the fountain contributed to the town was for pure ascetic. They were made as a decoration, a ornament to the town. The fountains were usually in the middle of the city's so to any visitors they usually are unavoidable to ignore. The obelisk was practically the only taste available outside prints of those phantasmic confections that sprang up for triumphal entries and royal marriages in seventeenth-century capitals, and of which Rubens is the other great perpetrator. The culture was very open to incorporate it in their structure, since it had history of its own already.

I think an example of Picturesque in South Florida that we can agree to be very obviously intentional is South Beach/South Point Park. The landscape is made vivid and graphic on purpose. From the synthetic grass, added sand to the beach to the unnatural palm trees implanted into the soil for ascetic. My understanding of space is affected by the fact that I been to places with this characterizations. Back in Cuba I used to go to a park called "Parque Maceo" which in a part there was a Haha, I didn't know that that type of structure was called like that until this moment. I definitely have a better understanding of what a garden could represent after reading this article. There is a garden around my area called City of Hialeah Garden of Arts. It's located in recidential area. And it's kind of a hidden Jem not a lot of people know about. The garden it's surrounded by art works and it has a park type of feel to it. With a couple of complex benches  you can enjoy the whole atmosphere of tranquility and  beautiful views. I could describe my relationship to it as my inspiration zone. It's a place that I visit where I want to enjoy solitude and a pleasing atmosphere to look at.
