In this reading I could find myself relating multiple times seen we are exploring ornament and pattern in class. This pass week I have been noticing pattern and ornament all around my everyday life and wandering the thoughts process how the creator started and how their creative process was. This article helped me understand more about other artist methods and creations. How we could see patterns on our everyday objects that we don't even notice. How their style could define periods in time, and art movements. According to the author it's also a biological process that humans tend to naturally act upon.  

I personally find most intriguing Elaboration since you can make countless designs with every basic shapes. Because I often find me creating this types of patterns in my doodles and sketches. As the author implies that pattern can be use to express language and culture I flashback to pattern I see in my culture that identify my cultural background. Base on this patterns archeologists are able to identify time periods that have not been identified.
